The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkmenistan, Azizbek Madmarov, met on February 4 with the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Nokerguly Atagulyev.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed the results of trade and economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan over the past year, as well as discussed potential directions for expanding cooperation in this area, according to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.
Nokerguly Atagulyev confirmed interest in intensifying joint work and expressed readiness to support the expansion of contacts between the business circles of both countries. He also invited Kyrgyz entrepreneurs to participate in the exhibition dedicated to the 17th anniversary of the establishment of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, and in the international forum "Investments in the Future of Turkmenistan" which will be held in Ashgabat this spring.
